What do you get when you combine David Tennant, Catherine Tate, and Shakespeare? Brilliance is what you get.

“Are you The Doctor?”
“Doctor Who?”

Almost two years ago, a few of us in an improv theatre decided to make a webseries. But since we had never written sketches before we were all very apprehensive about writing it. In November 2011, we finally formed our own internet sketch group, Flying Friendship Five, because we realized that we just needed to do this. We are still learning but I think we have lots of potential to “make it” in the comedy world.

So check out this webseries I am in! Please “like” it & share it with others. :)

Happy New Year.

Roar Theatre was chosen as one of the 365 things to do in San Diego. Awesome timing because our sketch show opens this Friday!

I used to looooove this show when I was a kid! My cousin and I literally cried watching some episodes. They were so lame sometimes it hurt. (via openculture, click above link)

I don’t understand why it is accepted practice to bum cigarettes from complete strangers. People will come up to me and be like, “Can I bum a cigarette? I’m really jonesing.” But you wouldn’t do that with anything else no matter how badly you wanted something. Like you wouldn’t go up to someone and be like, “I’m really thirsty! Can I have a sip of your Coke?” or “Hey, I’m really horny, can I fuck your boyfriend?

Did some research. Now I’m even more confused. It’s a quote from a poem by Robert Burns that goes, “The best laid schemes o’ mice an’ men / Gang aft agley.” “Gang aft agley”? WTF? It’s like he got drunk at the very end of his own poem and started to slur his words or something.
